Semper Fi

Semper Fidelis...to all past, current, and future Marines out there in the world. Semper Fi, the motto of the United States Marine Corps. Latin for always faithfull. Faithfull to God, Country, Family, and the Corps. "Once a Marine, always a Marine."

Too often we forget about those serving us, forgetting about the hardships, and the extremely tough times. We live in our own world over here...not over there. We concentrate on our own world, not theirs. We do anything to make our lives the easiest ever though possible, yet at the same time, forgetting about the real reason why we are able to have an "easy" life. We thank our boss for a pay raise, we thank our kids for cleaning their room, we even thank those who have the kind heart to tell us we dropped a dollar in the street. Yet all to often, we forget to thank those who gave us that job, who gave us our kids and our peacefull neighborhood, and even forgetting those who make it possible for us to walk fearless our in the streets, not having to worry about stray shrapnel.

So for all those Marines, past, present, and future; and for all the armed forces...Simper Fi....always faithfull to us, even when it appears we aren't faithfull to you.
